Following graduation, Dr. Morris completed a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) and served four years of active duty in the U.S. Army as a dentist, including three years stationed in Germany and a deployment to Iraq. Following removal of your wisdom teeth, there will be a healing period of a few weeks. Most people experience some soreness during the initial few days following surgery; ice packs and prescription pain medication will limit any pain during the healing period. After the soreness subsides, the gums continue to heal painlessly until they are fully closed in three weeks.
During this time, we advise eating soft foods and provide you with guidance on how to keep the area clean. Our skilled team ensures you have the tools and knowledge you need to have a comfortable, quick healing process, getting back to regular life as soon as possible. Wisdom Tooth Surgery
The surgery procedure for removing wisdom teeth is painless and straightforward, using IV sedation and local anesthetics to make the experience completely comfortable and memory-free. The surgery itself can be quick – lasting only 10 to 30 minutes in most cases. After removing the wisdom teeth, we place white blood cells called Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) into the socket to speed the healing process and lower the risk of infection. quick healing.
During the procedure, sedation will make you feel relaxed, comfortable, and unaware of the passage of time. In addition to IV sedation, we use local anesthetics to numb the mouth to minimize pain.

“Run do not walk to this practice! I never thought I’d be singing the praises after dental surgery but Dr.Morris, Dr.Cori and Lorraine and Donna are one of a kind. This place is a gem!!! The care they have for patients, and understanding can put even the most anxious at ease. This practice isn’t only kind but extremely talented and skilled. I’ve had bad experiences at dental offices before and definitely had shame over the state of my teeth and was for the first time ever at a practice treated with care and compassion. Dr.Morris never makes you feel bad for asking a question and takes the time to explain. His wife Dr.Cori, radiates peace. Lorraine and Donna are rockstars. I could go on and on, I am in awe and I know any patient this practice had is in absolutely awe and grateful for the above and beyond care as well.”

"Oh man , what an experience! I love Dr. Morris, Lorraine and Donna. They have all been so nice and accommodating towards me! I am at home now recovering from a wisdom teeth removal procedure that was this morning. Dr. Morris pulled all 4 teeth, plus 1 more that needed to go.
I have a history of drug use in my past, and I am on Methadone to help me stay clean from all that. Dr. Morris was totally cool with all that, and even wrote me a list of all the things I can do to help my veins pop on the day of the procedure.
Anyways, this morning my appt was at 8am. Dr. Morris and Lorraine tried and tried to find a vein on me, for over an hour. They never once seemed annoyed or anything like that. Finally, Dr. Morris found a vein, covered my eyes with a towel, and I was out! The sedative put me right to sleep! And I woke up in no time! My mouth was super numb but there was nooo pain! None at all! I didn't feel anything during the procedure!
If you have normal veins and need your wisdom teeth out, it would be even more of a breeze for you! Give Dr. Morris and his staff a shot! They are incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. I am so happy that I do not remember anything from the procedure because I was stressing over it all so much going into it.
There is a reason Dr. Morris has just about 5 stars! Him and his team are the best around! Thank you again for all the patience and help finding a good vein for the sedative and for making the procedure such a breeze! I'll see you guys soon for a cleaning!"
